Medical coding is one of the most important aspects of our medical system. Medical coding is the transformation of Health Care, diagnosis, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes. The codes used in medical coding are taken from ICD-10, the latest revision to the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD). These codes where created by the World Health Organization (WHO). These codes allow for the classification of over 16,000 diseases!

Here at CCC, we offer a medical and billing program where students will learn from a curriculum that is AHIMA approved! AHIMA is the American Health Information Management Association. We are proud to be one of only three AHIMA approved colleges in California.
